Donald Friend, Attorney

Donald Friend II is the founding member of Friend & Associates, LLC, a boutique tax, estate and business planning law firm located in Prairie Village, Kansas.  Previously he was a member at Friend Cooper, LLC and prior to that was a partner with Husch & Eppenberger, LLC in Kansas City, Missouri.  Donald represents clients in the areas of estate and trust taxation, estate planning, probate and trust administration, charitable and not-for-profit planning and business succession.  Donald has extensive experience regarding analysis and recommendations on complex estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer tax issues, including development of complex estate plans.  He also advises clients on various partnership and real estate tax matters.

In his free time, Donald enjoys traveling with his wife and sons.  He also enjoys watching his kids play sports.  When he is not at his kids’ games, you can find him watching his favorite teams, the Kansas Jayhawks or the Kansas City Royals.
